Ultradent Opalescence™ PF is a professional take-home teeth-whitening system designed for use with custom-fitted dental trays. Its viscous, sticky gel helps keep the whitening material securely inside the tray and reduces unwanted migration toward the soft tissues.
The carbamide peroxide formulation contains potassium nitrate and fluoride, commonly referred to as PF, to support patient comfort and enamel health during whitening treatment. Different concentrations allow the dentist to recommend a suitable wear time and treatment plan according to the patient’s whitening requirements.
Opalescence PF has now been renamed Opalescence Custom in some markets, while retaining the established whitening-gel formulation.
