Dental Mylar Strips are transparent matrix strips used during anterior composite restorations to help shape and contour restorative material while maintaining a smooth proximal surface.
Their clear polyester construction allows curing light to pass through the strip, making them especially useful for light-cured composite procedures. The flexible strips adapt easily around the tooth and help prevent bonding of restorative material to adjacent teeth.
